Terms of use
These terms apply to this Masar site. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them.
Who runs Masar
Masar is a free, non-commercial personal learning project run by one individual, Mahmoud Sabry, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Masar is free for everyone. It asks for no money of any kind.
Education only
- The lessons are for education only. They are not professional, financial, legal, tax or investment advice, and they do not come from any exam body.
- Masar is not linked to, or approved by, any exam body. Exam names belong to their owners.
- We do not promise any exam result.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older. One account is for one person.
- Keep your sign-in details private. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
- You can delete your account at any time. An account with no activity for 12 months is deleted, certificates included.
Fair use
- Use Masar for your own learning. Do not copy, scrape or republish the lessons, or share your access.
- AI features have daily limits, and we may pause them to protect the service.
- Do not type health, religious, political or financial personal details into the AI tutor or Ask Masar.
Content
The lessons, questions, audio and design belong to Mahmoud Sabry or are used with permission. You may use them for your own study only.
Changes, and ending the service
Masar may change, pause or stop. When these terms or the privacy notice change in a way that matters, we ask you to agree again at your next sign-in.
Limits of liability
Masar is provided as it is, without guarantees. To the extent the law allows, Masar is not responsible for indirect loss from using it. Nothing in these terms limits a right that the law gives you and that cannot be limited.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Abu Dhabi decide any dispute. This does not take away the protection that the data protection law of your own country gives you.

Questions about these terms:
Cost
Masar-Fintech is free. It asks for no money of any kind.
Free access
- Masar-Fintech is free. Every signed-in account opens everything, for as long as you like.
- Every signed-in account can open every lesson, its template and its quiz. The episode videos are published on YouTube and play on the lesson page only when you press play. An account is how we save your progress and issue stage certificates.
- The AI tutor has a daily limit so that it stays free for everyone. We improve the course over time and may change, add or reorganise lessons. If we ever change how access works, we will tell you here first.
The AI tutor
- The AI tutor answers questions about the lessons. It is a computer system (an AI model), not a person.
- AI can make mistakes. Its explanations and calculations may be wrong or incomplete. Use them as study help, and check anything important against the lesson text, which is the reference. Do not rely on it for legal, tax, accounting, investment or other professional advice.
- There is a daily limit on questions for each person, which is shown in the app, and a daily limit for the whole site. When a limit is reached, the tutor stops until the next day (UTC). We may change limits, models or providers, and the tutor may sometimes be unavailable.
- What you send to the tutor is processed by our AI provider to give you an answer (see the Privacy policy). Do not type sensitive personal information into it.
- Support assistant. Help and support also has an automated assistant for questions about the course and your account. It is separate from the tutor, answers from our reviewed information and your own account status, may still make mistakes, and cannot change your account or access. You can always ask a person instead.
Independent learning material; no professional advice
Masar-Fintech is independent learning material. It is not affiliated with, reviewed or endorsed by any professional body, standard-setter or tax authority. Crescent Holding, its divisions and its people are fictional. Lessons and articles explain general practice. They are not legal, tax, accounting, audit or investment advice for your situation. Tax rules, rates and deadlines change: every article shows the date it was last checked and its sources; confirm with the official source before you rely on a figure. Stage certificates record that you completed a learning stage on Masar; they are not exam results or professional qualifications, and we do not promise a job or any other result.
Templates and fictional figures
- Crescent Holding, its people and every figure in the lessons, templates and articles are fictional and invented for teaching.
- Templates are teaching aids. Check them before you use them in your own work; you are responsible for the numbers you report.
